About the video:

Sunitha Krishnan exposes the disturbing trend of gang rape videos being shared on social media platforms in this powerful video. She recounts a shocking incident from February 4, 2016, when she was alerted about offensive videos circulating on WhatsApp, prompting her to investigate. Despite her extensive experience rescuing victims of sexual slavery, Krishnan was horrified by the graphic nature of these videos, depicting multiple instances of sexual violence against women and children.

She highlights the challenges faced when reporting these videos to local authorities, who often claim jurisdiction issues, leading her to seek help from higher government officials. Krishnan calls for accountability from social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook, urging them not only to delete such content but also to report it to law enforcement to prevent further victimization. Join us in supporting her fight against these heinous crimes and her passionate call to action for justice and safety online.
