Monika Thangavelu is passionately committed to making a difference. After graduating with honors in law, she deepened her expertise in human rights by pursuing a Master’s degree in the UK. During the COVID pandemic, she found her true calling in the social welfare and development sector while working with the Human Rights Research Centre at the University of Essex.
She then embarked on a whole-school transformation program at a low-income government school in North Chennai, leading initiatives for holistic development with a child-centric approach. Dynamic and driven, she has extensive experience developing and managing impactful projects across education and social entrepreneurship.
In the startup world, Monika excels in ambiguous roles that demand initiative and versatility. She thrives in fast-paced, chaotic environments, effortlessly generating and executing innovative ideas. She has a knack for building and managing communities for networking, transformative learning, and immersive experiences.
Currently, she is channeling her experiences into writing a unique interactive journal. This book intertwines her journey with prompts that invite readers to share their own stories, resulting in a collaborative collection of narratives.
