Yesterday in Kochi, amidst the lush greenery and tranquil backwaters of Cheppanam House, 18 incredible women gathered for an INK Women Workshop, ready to craft and share their stories with the world. Led by INK CEO and master storyteller Lakshmi Pratury, these ladies dove into intensive brainstorming sessions, honing their story and storytelling skills. And then they claimed the spotlight, recording their narratives under the guidance of professional directors and videographers! A huge shoutout to Suzannah Muthoot for selecting such a beautiful location and the impeccable arrangements!
We were awed by the range and depth of expertise and experiences the women brought—from organic farmers, jewelry designers, fashion curators and photographers, luxury carpet makers, bakers, ontological coaches, mental health professionals, business leaders, sports evangelists, social media marketers, leadership consultants, engineers, educators, and AI experts.
But the retreat wasn’t just about powerful stories and uplifting delivery. It was about real connections and fierce inspiration. Over shared snacks, lunch, and a sumptuous dinner, these women bonded. They reflected on their multi-faceted identities and found connections in the diversity. They saw their struggles reflected in each other’s stories and found fuel for their own journeys in each other’s successes. It was a beautiful thing to witness.
By the end, everyone left with a win: a professionally produced video ready to inspire audiences everywhere.
But more importantly, they found their voice—that inner voice that says, “I have a story to tell, and it matters.”
